The ultra-high frequency ultrasonic pulse-echoer UPE-UHF 500 can generate ultrasonic pulses with a width of only 1.6 ns, thus enabling the excitation of high-frequency ultrasonic waves. The UPE-UHF 500 supports two measurement modes: echo and transmission. By measuring the propagation speed of high-frequency ultrasonic waves in the medium, it can characterize the elastic modulus of thin solid samples. In addition, it can serve as the core component of an ultrasonic microscope for exciting high-frequency ultrasonic pulses.
