The multifunctional acoustic testing system integrates a signal generator, a power amplifier, a preamplifier, a filter, and data acquisition and display functions. It can generate arbitrary excitation signals in ultrasonic testing and perform multi-channel ultrasonic data acquisition. The acoustic testing system MATS can serve as an integrated multi-channel ultrasonic excitation and reception system. It can also be used independently as an ultrasonic pulse-echo instrument, a power amplifier, or a data acquisition system.
